O Shakedown do Geko Ypres Rally teve alguns resultados inesperados pois, a grande chuvada que caiu antes do seu inicio, deixou os pisos extremamente escorregadios. Robert Barrable acabou por ter o melhor tempo, seguido de Oleksandr Saliuk e Patrick Snijers.
